Grays Services Group began as Gray's Mechanical Services, founded by Simon Gray after a career spanning engineering, project management and complex building-services environments.

What started from a home office has grown into a group of four specialist companies delivering residential services, planned maintenance and major mechanical projects across the UK.

While the business has grown considerably, the principles behind it remain the same: understand the requirement, take responsibility for the outcome and deliver work to a consistently high standard.

Simon Gray

Founder & Managing Director

Simon founded Gray's Mechanical Services following a career spanning engineering, project management and commercial building services.

Having started as an apprentice engineer, he progressed into senior technical and project roles before establishing the business from a home office. Today, he leads the strategic direction of Grays Services Group while remaining closely involved in major projects, technical standards and key client relationships.

Callum Gray

Commercial & Operations Director

Callum leads the group's commercial and operational strategy, with particular responsibility for its maintenance and residential divisions.

He works across the business to develop new services, strengthen commercial processes and support sustainable growth, while remaining closely involved in operations, key client relationships and major project opportunities.

Vanessa Gray

Finance Director

Vanessa oversees the financial, administrative and people functions of Grays Services Group.

With more than 20 years' accounts experience, she has been part of GMS since 2014 and supports the continued growth of the business through financial management, HR, and health and safety.

James Fulford

Director, GMS London

James leads GMS London, overseeing the delivery and development of projects across the capital.

He works closely with clients, contractors and project teams to ensure works are well coordinated and delivered to the technical and quality standards expected across the group.
